Eudourology and Stones
- To evaluate if trial of passage (TOP) or initial surgical intervention resulted in less narcotic analgesia utilization in patients with acute renal colic due to stone disease.
- To compare perioperative outcomes between lower, mid, and upper pole access locations for patients undergoing single-access, unilateral percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL).
- To compare the PERC-tic technique, described as placement of dual wires under fluoroscopic guidance adjacent to the stone within the obstructed calyx, to standard percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) with working wires secured down the ureter.
- To evaluate feasibility of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for complex nephrolithiasis in patients 80 years of age and older compared to younger individuals.
