Lower urinary tract dysfunction in the pediatric patient can be associated with mental
health issues, such as anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In fact, 20%-40%
of pediatric patients with daytime urinary incontinence have concomitant diagnosis
of mental health disease.

Here, we present a case of lower urinary tract dysfunction in the setting of OCD,
with symptom resolution following appropriate treatment of OCD. This case report demonstrates
the importance of clinicians including mental health disorders in the differential
